Terry was raised in Spokane, WA, graduating from Lakeside High School in 1993. He first started coming to Shiloh in Junior High with his family who was looking for a new church. He met the love of his life, Angelina, when he was 24 years old working at Washington Trust Bank. They dated, and were married on April 21, 2001 at Shiloh Hills. They have three beautiful children, a 13 year old daughter, Alexis, a 10 year old son, Nathan, and a five year old son, Reid. Terry attributes his family, both immediate and extended, for helping build a foundation of truth through their living examples of Jesus, though he truly gave his life to the Lord when God brought Angelina into his life.
"An effective way for kids to be disciples is by focusing on how we can show people who Jesus is with our words and actions."
Terry has been a member of our team since March 2012. "I feel as a church we have a responsibility, one we have struggled with, and that's to help kids make their faith their own. I believe that faith isn't something we experience through osmosis and we need to find ways for kids to experience Jesus in their own way. An effective way for kids to be disciples is by focusing on how we can show people who Jesus is with our words and actions." Terry enjoys watching University of Michigan football, building Legos with his kids, reading, and experiencing God's creation by visiting National Parks with his wife and family.
We sure are thankful to have him on our team! If you want to get to know Terry better, have questions, or would like to send him a note of encouragement, you can do so by sending an email at the link below.
